9 Days – Caltural Tour and Wildlife Safari

Trip: Starts and ends in Arusha:

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
0830 Hrs. After your breakfast; depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drive.

1300 Hrs.  Stop at the Picnic Site for Picnic Lunch,
1400 Hrs. Continue for evening game drive, then drive to Manyara for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara Park + Mto wa Mbu Cultural tour
After your breakfast at 08.30 Drive through local village, You will have Village walks (2-4 hours)
Get an inside look at the homes and exquisite craft of Mto wa Mbu’s many tribes. Visitors will get a chance to meet locals and learn about banana beer, Makonde woodcarvings, and the tribal painting techniques; the village provides a great introduction to everyday life in Africa.

Later with your packed lunch to Manyara park for game viewing. At 1300 hrs take your lunch in the park picnic area, Later drive to Lake Eyasi Village for dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Lake Eyasi (Hunt with Bushmen-Full day Walking and Cultural) 
After breakfast, drive a short distance from camp to the Endabagha River, one the vital water sources that feeds this dry area. Here, meet your Hadzabe guide who introduces the extraordinary life and world of his people, hunter-gatherer Bushmen whose language involves a collection of clicking sounds. Return to Lodge for lunch and a bush walk later this afternoon. You will drive to Lodge/Tented Camp/ campsite for overnight.

The Bushmen are related to the Kalahari Bushmen of South Africa. They speak the same click language but do not understand each other, as they have been apart for very long. The Bushmen live a medieval kind of life style. They do not build permanent homes but follow the animals in the area as they trap and kill them for food. They are hunters and gatherers.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater-Ndutu Area 

0730 Hrs.  After breakfast, drive and descend into the crater floor with your lunch box for game viewing. The famous Ngorongoro Crater is rich of wildlife, each species have their own territories.

1300 Hrs.  Stop at the Picnic Site for Picnic Lunch, which will be served on the crater floor at the picnic site near Lerai forest or hippo pool.

1600 Hrs.  Ascend the Crater and drive to Ndutu Area for overnight.

Day 5 & 6: Ndutu Area 

Full Day Ndutu plains area which borders the Southern Serengeti plains. The great wildebeest migration is currently concentrated around this area from early December to mid-May and we hope you’ll be able to view this magic spectacle. Evening drive to the Camp, Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Conservation

Day 7: Ndutu to Serengeti National Park  

0630 Hrs. Early morning game drives in the in the Park 0930 Hrs. Return to Camp for breakfast and relax at Leisure.

1300 Hrs. Lunch will be served at your Camp.

1400 Hrs. Afternoon game drive enroute to Serengeti, in the evening dinner and overnight at Serengeti.

Day 8: Central Serengeti  

0830 Hrs. After your breakfast; depart from your lodge for game drive in Serengeti National Park.

1300 Hrs.  Stop at the Picnic Site for Picnic Lunch,

1400 Hrs. Afternoon game in Serengeti, to return in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Serengeti – Arusha

0630 Hrs. Early morning game drives in the in the Park

0930 Hrs. Return to Camp for breakfast

10:00 Hrs. Drive to directly to Arusha. At great wild sightings we will stop shortly

Arrive Arusha in the evening, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
