DAY 4-CAPE TOWN – FREE DAY

A visit to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is a ‘MUST’. The V&A Waterfront is situated close to Cape Town’s World Cup Football Stadium and is in the heart of Cape Town’s working harbour. The V&A Waterfront offers the visitor an abundance of unforgettable experiences. Indoor shopping, entertainment venues, and mountain views together with a fresh sea breeze and the warm African sun all add life to a cosmopolitan, vibrant atmosphere. More than 80 restaurants bring international food to every visitor, from rustic local fish and chips to table-cloth cuisine. The Atlantic Seaboard is known as Cape Town’s ‘Riviera’, running from the V&A Waterfront on the North Shore of Table Mountain all the way down to Hout Bay. Sandwiched between the glistening Atlantic Ocean and the slopes of Lions Head are the ‘Twelve Apostles’, a sundowner drink is an absolute treat here. There are plenty of venues to enjoy a sundowner with the sun subsiding over the ocean. Although the water can be a little chilly, beaches like Clifton and Camps Bay are popular for swimming.
