Clients are requested to send 50% of the total cost of a tour in order to guarantee the reservation into our bank account as directed by our sales consultants.

It is better to book in advance to ensure availability of rooms and other services at the time you wish to travel, especially in (December, January, February, July & August and September).

when the cancellation is done in a period of over 28 days of the safari/tour, 50% of the deposit sent will be refunded. When the cancellation is done in a period between 14 -28 days of the safari/tour, 25% of the payment would be refunded. When the cancellation is done in a period between 7 – 14 days  NO REFUND.


We exercise utmost care in handling our guests and their property, but will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings or personal injury.

We use Land Cruiser, Land Rover, Mini-buses. we provide English/French and Spanish driver guides .

We don’t have facilities to process Visa or Master Card for your safari and mountain climbing, the deposit should be paid by bank transfer / The balance is to be paid on a cash basis


Most of Banks offer ATM facilities. Banks in major town and Cities have introduced now ATM facilities. Don’t change money in the street.


Prices for camping safaris include: Park fees, meals, cook, driver, camping equipments and transport. Prices for camping safaris per trip will depend on the number of people. We prefer every client to have a window seat. We can arrange for an extended car that gives all our clients a window seat.

Prices for mountain climbing include all national park fees, meals, 4 ways transport, camping equipments, porters, cook and guides. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE climbing gears or any other personal arrangement.

everyone is responsible for personal travel insurance. Please check whether it applies for Africa and for mountain trekking. Backpacker Safaris act only as agents of the clients in all aspect relating to hotel accommodation, tours, transport and shall not be liable for injury, delay, loss or damage in any manner. The company is not responsible for theft or loss of baggage. Please baggage insurance is therefore recommended.

Based on one, two or three persons sharing a twin room/tent or a family sharing larger accommodation. Where possible rooms with private bath are used.  Avoid last-minute changes to pre-booked accommodation.
